Our Story

After practicing family law together for several years, Elizabeth and Yasaman decided to open their own family law firm. They founded Nexus Family Law to ensure that Coloradans have access to quality legal services with attorneys who care. With offerings ranging from unbundled (á la carte) services to full representation, Nexus can help clients at any price point.

Elizabeth Gregory

Member & Managing Partner

Elizabeth Gregory is a Founder and Managing Partner at Nexus Family Law Group. Prior to starting Nexus with Yasaman, Elizabeth practiced family law in Denver for several years in addition to serving as Deputy Attorney General at the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office, where she practiced Civil Defense and Worker’s Compensation. Elizabeth graduated law school from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha Nebraska with a Litigation Concentration in 2012.

Elizabeth is a devoted mother to her twin boys who will both be lawyers one day. In her spare time, Liz enjoys spending time with her family, painting, and weightlifting.

Born in Tehran, Iran, Yasaman attended Tehran Central University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Law. Yasaman continued her education in the United States obtaining a Master of Law (LL.M) in International Law from Robert H. McKinney School of Law, in addition to both a Juris Doctorate (JD) and Master of Law (LL.M) in International Business Transaction Law from the University of Denver.

In her spare time, Yasaman enjoys traveling, wine tastings and spending time hiking and off-roading in the beautiful Colorado mountains with her husband and their dog, Emily.
Isabella Dietrich

Associate Attorney

Isabella Dietrich is an Associate Attorney at Nexus Family Law Group. Prior to joining Nexus, Isabella was a law clerk in Denver District Court with the Honorable Judge Eric Johnson and interned for Justice Hart at the Colorado Supreme Court. Isabella was a prior board member for the Colorado Women’s Bar Association and intern for Metro Volunteer Lawyers.

Isabella attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and prior to that attended the University of Iowa for her bachelor’s degrees. During her undergraduate career Isabella worked with the University of Iowa to assist in drafting legislation for the university’s interests especially regarding mental health resources, funding, and medical amnesty.

In her spare time, Isabella enjoys volunteering at community gardens, reading, and exploring Colorado with her husband and their dog, Lydia.
Carson Pinter

Associate Attorney

Carson Pinter is an Associate Attorney at Nexus Family Law Group. Prior to joining Nexus, Carson was a Judicial Fellow in the Denver District Court with the Honorable Judge Angela D. Boykins. Carson was a prior intern for the Colorado Bar Association and a founding member of the International Futbol Negotiation Team at the University of Denver.

Prior to attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Carson attended Occidental College for his bachelor’s degree. During his undergraduate career Carson was a member of the collegiate basketball team, and also participated in the founding and development of the Occidental College Philosophy Department’s Ethics Bowl Program.

In his spare time, Carson enjoys participating in community-based collector events, watching Formula 1 and Survivor, and enjoying outdoor activities with friends and family.
Casidy Ludwig

Licensed Legal Paraprofessional

Casidy Ludwig is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional and Managing Paralegal at Nexus Family Law Group. Before becoming one of the first licensed LLPs in the state of Colorado, Casidy excelled as a Managing Paralegal in family law, working alongside Elizabeth and Yasaman for the better part of a decade. Casidy is passionate about assisting Colorado families through the judicial system, and expanding access to justice for parents and their children who are affected by the family Court system.

Casidy is a Colorado native and most enjoys spending time with her two children, husband, and goldendoodle, Jimmy. In their spare time, you can typically find Casidy and her family at a Rockies games, enjoying live music or a local brewery, or at home for pizza and movie night.
Paola Garcia

Licensed Legal Paraprofessional

Paola Garcia is a first-generation Latina born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She obtained her paralegal associate’s degree from the Community College of Denver in 2017. Paola continued her education and graduated from the University of Colorado Denver in 2019 where she received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in sociology.

Paola has worked in multiple areas of law but has spent most of her career in Family Law. In June of 2024 she was a part of the first round of Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals in the State of Colorado. Paola is ecstatic to continue her career in family law and help bridge the access to justice. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
